Computer Suite

This state of the art computer room was sponsored by The Big Lottery. It is located on the ground floor with easy wheelchair access and equipped with six PC’s, all with fibre broadband internet access, and content filtering. One PC is suitable for graphic design work and for wheelchair users as it is mounted on a height adjustable trolley which also allows it to be used throughout the building. All PC’s have Microsoft Windows 7 and Office 2010 installed. The room is equipped with two colour laser printers and a scanner. The room is ideally suited for training purposes, as a conference break-out room or to host IT exhibition displays. Easy access to ground floor toilets and kitchen facilities.

Meeting Room 1 (Mercury)

A ground floor room equipped with comfortable seating, a PC with fibre broadband connection and a telephone.  Ideal for up to four people for a meeting or small group training.  Accessible to wheelchairs.  Use of kitchen available.  Excellent conference break-out room.  Easy access to ground floor toilets and kitchen facilities.

Meeting Room 2 (Apollo)

A comfortable ground floor meeting room suitable for small group training or meeting for up to six people.  Fully equipped with PC and fibre internet and telephone.  One end of the room hosts a washbasin and modesty curtain making it ideal for medical consultations.  Easy access to ground floor toilets and kitchen facilities.

Meeting Room 3 (Neptune)

A large first floor meeting room equipped with round table which easily seats eight.  One end of the room is furnished with soft sofas and a low table making it a versatile area for meetings but also ideal as an activity room.  Examples of past hirers include West Surrey Children’s Team for contact meetings; Neighbourhood Watch for public meetings; Waverley Borough Council for consultation sessions and Surrey Youth Support Services for parenting classes.

Wheelchair access is via the lift and there is a unisex toilet on the first floor.

Storage Facilities

The centre has a large storage room on the first floor with shelving and cupboards available to hire on a longer term basis.  It is a secure area and by using the capacious electric lift, most things can be transported and stored in this room.
