Health Hub

The Health Hub is a youth support session run on a Friday night, currently due to Government restrictions, over 2 sessions, on an invite only basis from 5 – 6.30pm and 7 – 8.30pm. At this point in time we are offering a triage, during these times for the young people not attending the sessions, to continue our support.  We do all the things you would expect at a regular youth club. Offering a place to relax and unwind plus a place to meet and make friends.

We also design each session around the young people who attend on the evening not only by doing a range of activities such as pool, cooking and film nights but also providing activities and  workshops that support the young people who may feel stressed, anxious or may want additional help with managing their current situations and the challenges of life.

At the Health Hub we promote the importance of a healthy mind, body and lifestyle. The staff team have years of experience working alongside young people who may struggle within a social setting, need additional support around mental health, face feelings of low self-esteem or confidence. We offer individual one to one activities around each young person’s needs and signpost and work in partnership with other agencies where needed to cater for the young person’s needs.  With the help of additional funding when secured we can also offer offshoot projects that further help support and develop the young people.

Health Hub is a safe, fun place to visit. Please contact us for more information and the best times for you to check the Health Hub out, Simon@40degreez.org.uk
