Looking for something new to teach your dog?

Dogs have a highly sensitive nose, vastly superior to our own. Scentwork is a natural behaviour for a dog and essential in hunting and finding prey. As man’s best friend, this behaviour has been put to many uses – for example in police work, search and rescue, and now as an up and coming dog sport. As a dog sport, scentwork has emerged from detection style nose work as practised by customs and excise, explosives detection, search and rescue and medical detection dogs.

Scentwork is suitable for all dogs, small to large, young to old.

Surrey Scentwork meets on Thursday mornings 10am-12pm at 40degreez. For more information or if you would like to join our classes, please visit www.surreyscentwork.co.uk

AdaptDementia is here to support and help people with dementia and those who care for them.  We aim to help you find a better way to live with dementia with as much or as little support as you want, depending on your individual needs.

We provide a private service of informationtraining and support for anyone wanting to know more about dementia and how to adapt themselves and their environment to the challenges it brings.

At 40 Degreez in Farnham we run our popular Cognitive Stimulation Therapy (CST) groups for people with dementia and our Support groups for those who care for them.

Here are some of the recent comments made about our CST Groups:

“My husband is thoroughly enjoying the sessions you run and finds them stimulating.  He talks about what has happened all the way home.  He likes meeting new people and this in itself is encouraging him to try to remain outgoing.”

“He’s always happy when he’s been there.”

Singing with Georgie

Singing with Georgie is a fun, interactive way to sing, dance and play music with your baby. It is also a great way to meet parents in the local area.

Georgie was the Head of Music at a school in London before moving to Farnham last year at the start of her maternity leave.

The sessions run on Monday afternoons and Friday mornings and are aimed at infants, crawlers and early walkers.
