During her year as Mayor, whilst in the depths of the pandemic, Cllr Penny Marriott aimed to complete the Mayor’s Charity Challenge, 100+100+100. This was to walk 100 miles, swim 100 miles & cycle 100 miles, during her Mayoral year. Supporting local charities, we are pleased to say that we were one of her chosen & on completion of the challenge, we received an amazing donation of £700 from Penny, which we will be putting towards the Gardening Project & the completion of the Memory Garden for the young people.
