Welcome Helen

Everyone at 40 Degreez welcomes Helen Lovell to the team, taking up the post of part-time youth worker reporting to lead youth worker Simon Jamison. Already known to 40 Degreez with her Musical Beats club, Helen brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm. We wish her good luck!

Harry Otter

Harry Otter was on show at Farnham Carnival, and later was auctioned for £300, proceeds to local charities. Congratulations to all the young people at Hangout and Wey Station for a brilliant effort, ably supported by local artist Georgina Ellis.

White Stuff Live and Love Locally

White Stuff clothes store has supported 40 Degreez for over five years now.  Stores nationwide are entering into a week-long promotion over half term called Live, Love, Local.  Some of the Hangout and FAB members have painted their own little seed planters which White Stuff will be offering to customers for a donation – all proceeds from the week go to White Stuff Foundation to match and then donated to 40 Degreez.  The seeds are butterfly friendly wild flowers and will look lovely when nurtured and replanted into garden tubs.  Welcome to Spring and all the colour it brings!

Why not pop in during the week – Feb 11 – Feb 17 and check out what’s going on?

Drumming workshops at Hangout Club

Surrey High Sheriff Awards have donated towards a series of drumming and music workshops at 40 Degreez which occur during the Hangout Sessions on Friday afternoons. The intention is to put on a live musical performance for friends and family during the evening of Friday 23rd March 2018.  For more information contact our Youth Leader Simon:

We’re also learning to play guitars too!

Spectacular donation!

Following the amazing Lions Summer Spectacular fund raiser, Janet Maines and the rest of the 40 Degreez team are delighted to receive cheque for £10,000+ from Sally Ross of Farnham Lions. This will enable us to launch the Friday evening Health Hub for young people. Fantastic news!

Earlier, the the 4 charities benefiting from the Lions Summer Spectacular assembled at The Old Court House to receive the total cheque of over £40,000. Congratulations to Farnham Lions!

Carnival Day Successes

Congratulations to Mike and Corinna  whose joint guess was the closest to the weight of the cake at 1330 grams.  The actual weight was 1340 grams so very well guessed.  Must be cake bakers to have been so close.

Congratulations also to Tara who guessed there were 1300 jelly beans in the jar.  The actual number was 1275 so well done Tara you have won yourself a White Stuff voucher for £10.

It was a great day despite the iffy weather and well done to Farnham Lions and Hedgehogs for their roaring success!
